Citrix Synergy 2015 Wrap Up

Citrix Synergy 2015 is now a week behind us. We had a great time meeting customers -shout out to Jim Dirkes from Medical University of SC and Paul Varghese and Brad Teter from GEHA, partners, Citrix bigwigs and all of you who stopped by for a demo and a piece of chocolate.

Our Tuesday evening Welcome Reception special guest Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) and Citrix consultant Shane Kleinert did a bang up job giving out expert advice. Jarian Gibson and Steve Greenberg also CTPs hung out with us a bit to see what is new and exciting at ControlUp.

GeekOvation MC (Mistress of Ceremonies), Jo Harder, popped by a few times to check in with us. And announced the GeekOvation Winner on Wednesday evening during Geek Speak Tonight! to Sacha Thomet who won an iWatch, sponsored by ControlUp, for his awesome script.

Self-proclaimed desktop virtualization blogger and all around good guy, Gabe Knuth, came by the booth and interviewed our very own Yoni Avital for a BrianMadden video. Keep your eye out for this one – it’s going be good!

We didn’t bring the shots this year to the conference but we did bring lots of silly putty (a big hit amongst the crowd!) and sweatshirts as this year’s give-aways. Next year, we promise to bring back the “booze cruise” vibe.
