ControlUp is Excited to Go Back to VMware Explore Barcelona

Coming off an exceptional VMware Explore North America, ControlUp is excited to attend Explore 2023 Barcelona from November 6th to the 9th at the Fira Gran Via. As with the Las Vegas event in August, we will have a massive presence at this event!

Before digging into the details of Barcelona, let’s review some of the highlights from Vegas. The first and most exciting thing was that after being selected for TechTarget’s Best of VMware Explore 2023 in the Multi-Cloud and App Modernization category, ControlUp also won the Best of Show award! This award was accepted by our new CEO, Jed Ayres. Many people in the EUC community are familiar with Jed as he was the former CEO & CMO of IGEL.

Our booth and our multiple sessions in Vegas were very well attended. At the event, we announced our free Edge DX 50-user VIP pack that lets you monitor physical endpoints (PCs, macOS, Linux, and thin client devices), remotely connect to them, and automatically remediate issues on them!

Michelle Olmstead wrote an excellent blog about our presence in Vegas. Check it out for more information.

Next stop: Barcelona!

Last year, we had an exceptional event at the Fira Gran Via; it will be even better this year! If you haven’t registered yet, there is still time to register.

As you enter the exhibition hall, our booth (#307) will be to the right of the aisle. We will have NINE demo stations staffed by some of the brightest people in the EUC community. We will have some swag for our friends and copies of the free 50-user VIP pack.

Explore is all about meeting with others and learning, and we are excited to share knowledge with the EUC community. To help with this, On the 7th, Joel and I  have an Expo theater session called Troubleshooting Desktops Just Got Less Expensive, Faster, and Easier! [EUS2151BCNS]. On the 8th Trentent and Chantelle have a breakout session entitled Close Tickets Faster for a Better Virtual Desktop Experience with ControlUp [EUSB2150BCNS]. These will not be your dull, run-of-the-mill PowerPoint sessions, as with all ControlUp sessions, we will be having (the good lord and Wi-Fi permitting) live demonstrations of our product using use cases from our customers.  Yes, we have been known to crash and burn on stage, but we always have a good time!

One of the great things about VMware Explore is their VMTN and Code session, where short presentations are given regarding specific technologies. Some of the VMTN and Code sessions that the friends of ControlUp will be presenting are:

Celebrate EUC with us and our partners!

ControlUp and its partners, Microsoft, Stratodesk, 10ZiG, Rimo3, T4Change, OZNONATech, SVA, LIQUIT, souITec, and others like to have a good time and are sponsoring the EUC Party on Wednesday night. A good time will be had for those that go.

We look forward to seeing you in sunny Barcelona the first week of November! Go to our VMware Explore Barcelona page for the latest updates.
