Chloe Casdorph As we hit the mid-year mark, it’s a great time to reflect on ControlUp’s accomplishments in the first half of 2025. This period has been marked by exciting product innovations, strategic partnerships, and notable company achievements, all aimed at enhancing IT efficiency, employee productivity, and the digital employee experience (DEX) for organizations worldwide.
Here’s a snapshot of our milestones in the first half of 2025:
Major Releases & Product Innovations
- ControlUp for Apps for SaaS and Web App Visibility launched in February 2025, expanding our DEX platform’s support to improve visibility for SaaS and web applications.
- The Windows 11 Readiness study conducted by ControlUp in June 2025 revealed that 50% of enterprise Windows endpoints have yet to complete their migration to Windows 11, providing crucial insights for IT teams. (Migration on your mind? Learn how ControlUp can help.)
- The release of ControlUp for VDI v9.1 brought new tools and enhancements to help streamline IT operations and improve end-user experience.
- The first version of ControlUp Workflows, a low-code workflow automation capability that enables customers to journey toward an autonomous digital workplace, was released in February, and major updates were released in May.
- We announced full support for Amazon Workspaces, providing monitoring, troubleshooting, and end-user experience and app performance management with WorkSpaces desktops.
New Partnerships & Community Growth
- ControlUp partnered with Px3 to deliver real-time carbon footprint tracking for employee devices, redefining sustainability in the digital workplace. Check out our on-demand webinar to learn more.
- The ControlUp Community has grown to over 2,700 members who have collectively shared more than 145,000 messages, with over 46,000 messages posted to date in 2025.
- The ControlUp Community underwent a reorganization to keep knowledge flowing and ideas exchanging. Channels are now organized by product, with a new addition for the ControlUp Innovation Guild’s tips, tools, and dashboards. Join the ControlUp Community to tap into this vast resource!
- We launched the ControlUp Innovation Guild: a group of dedicated technologists on a mission to build practical solutions to meet customer needs. And it has already released two new innovations:
- ControlUp Disk Monitor is a lightweight, powerful way to monitor disk health and performance proactively across the IT environment.
- Big Screen Dashboard is a fully functional, customer-ready dashboard powered by the ControlUp API and built using Grafana that provides continuous visibility into the state of your IT environment.
Company Recognition
- For the second consecutive year, ControlUp was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools in May 2025. Download your copy of the report today!
- ControlUp received the Silver Globee® Award for Customer Engagement Innovation in April 2025.
- ControlUp celebrated its 2024 Partners of the Year, highlighting strong collaborations within its ecosystem.
- ControlUp reported double-digit year-over-year growth and fueled innovation with a strategic acquisition and new offerings in January 2025.
