Like most in the world, the team at ControlUp has been watching the unfolding disaster in Ukraine with distress. It’s difficult to watch such a thing happen, and, internally, we’ve been trying to figure out how we can help from our specialized corner of the world.

We are strong believers in the transformative power of technology. Our goal as a company is to create technology that offers people more flexibility and choice. The violence and chaos that has been unleashed in Ukraine stands in opposition to the values we hold as a company.

Effective immediately, ControlUp will cease all support for ControlUp product and services within Russia, including renewal of service contracts, product support, as well as cloud access to our product for Russian organizations.

Additionally, we’ve donated to GlobalGiving, an organization that provides critical humanitarian support to communities in crisis. I wish I could say that our company’s humble intervention could definitively influence the course of events in Ukraine. But, if we all join our efforts, collectively, we can make a difference.
