However, we will remember 2025 as the year that we moved beyond reactive IT. Our product innovations, industry recognitions, and partnerships last year showed our unwavering focus on proactive IT, unified visibility, and platform expansion. We prioritized automation, actionable insights, and intuitive experiences across the platform.

From simplifying Windows 365 migrations to delivering custom dashboards, we significantly expanded the ControlUp ONE platform.

As we kick off the new year, let’s look back at the accomplishments that defined our last year as a leader in the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) market.

Major Product Innovation: Personalized Visibility and Insights That Matter 

With several key releases this year, we put the power of personalized visibility directly into the hands of IT leaders and operators. These new features customize reporting, solve fragmented visibility, and unify disparate data.

  • Custom Dashboards: Delivers highly flexible, customizable, real-time, and historical custom dashboards. IT operations and business leaders can now visualize data (including Microsoft Copilot+ readiness and AI usage trends) in one place. This feature is crucial for creating custom views for specific business units or customer environments.
  • Consolidated Events Management: Consolidates alerts and incidents from desktops, virtual desktop infrastructure, and web synthetic monitoring into a single, unified view, significantly reducing root-cause analysis time.
  • Employee Details View: Streamlines troubleshooting by correlating experience events into a single timeline, simplifying problem-solving and reducing resolution times.

Platform Expansion: New Products and Features

The modern workplace is more diverse than ever. We expanded the reach of the ControlUp ONE platform to cover every device an employee uses, and by launching ControlUp for Apps to provide deep visibility into SaaS and web applications. Alongside these are other key new products and features. 

  • ControlUp Migrate for Windows 365: This free tool automates and accelerates migrations of existing Azure Virtual Desktop and other Azure Virtual Machines to Windows 365 Cloud PCs. This massively reduces project cost and complexity for organizations modernizing their infrastructure.
  • macOS Compliance Support: Enhanced ControlUp for Compliance to support patching third-party macOS applications, ensuring consistent IT compliance and endpoint security across all major operating systems.
  • DEX Goes Mobile: ControlUp for Frontline Workers (powered by B2M Solutions) extends real-time digital employee experience and mobile device analytics to Android devices used in logistics, retail, and field services.
  • Remote Control for Unmanaged Devices: This new feature gives IT the ability to remotely support and assist users, even when the device is not on our tenant.

Accelerating Automation: Low-Code Workflows and Innovative Tools

A defining moment for automation last year was the official launch of ControlUp Workflows engine. This low-code platform that allows IT teams to build complex, self-healing processes using a visual drag-and-drop canvas. We enabled IT professionals of all skill levels to resolve issues at scale without writing a single line of code.

  • Advanced Workflows: Throughout the year, we continued to deliver updated features for workflows to make IT more autonomous and efficient than ever before, including advanced scheduling triggers, easy integration connection checks, and more! 
  • The ControlUp Innovation Guild: This group of dedicated, passionate, and deeply technical minds came together to develop practical tools and solutions that extend and enhance what ControlUp can do based on customer needs, with a strong focus on IT automation.

We believe that it is a testament to the results you, our customers, achieve every day, from improving productivity and lowering costs to delivering an amazing digital employee experience. 
  • Gartner Leader (Again!): For the second consecutive year, ControlUp was named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Employee Experience Management Tools (May 2025). As our CEO Jed Ayres said, “In our opinion, being recognized twice in under a year signals something bigger than just industry validation—it reflects the incredible momentum we’ve built by staying relentlessly focused on innovation and execution.”
  • Sustainability Leadership: Partnered with Px3 to launch one-click carbon footprint reporting, enabling IT teams to automate Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions tracking and meet global sustainability reporting requirements
  • Ecosystem Validation: We achieved the AWS Foundational Technical Review, making the ControlUp ONE platform available on the Amazon Web Services Marketplace and expanding support for Amazon WorkSpaces customers.
