SAN JOSE, CA, April 4, 2023—ControlUp, the industry leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX) management, announced today the latest release of Real-Time DX 8.8, an end-to-end monitoring and troubleshooting solution for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) environments. With hundreds of new metrics including 162 specifically for Azure Virtual Desktop, ControlUp can now provide monitoring, alerting and remediation capabilities to Azure Virtual Desktop the same way it does for Citrix and VMware Horizon environments.
ControlUp is a proven and versatile solution that supports all major cloud VDI, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and VMware Horizon, from one control plane. It allows users to choose the right EUC platform for their environment, whether they need to migrate, scale up, or launch resources on-premises or in the cloud.
In addition to ControlUp’s integration with and support of Azure Virtual Desktop, the following features are now available:
- 70 performance metrics and dashboards for FSLogix profile containers that help to identify poor performance contributors and optimize in areas such as storage usage, and logon durations
- Advanced Remote DX metrics, helping IT admins identify whether issues in remote work environments are with the user’s device or their internet, and remediate issues before a help desk ticket is opened
- Multitenancy support for managed service providers (MSPs), simplifying monitoring across multiple environments
- Automatic detection, notification, and restart of any Windows service failure, which greatly reduces downtime, a top challenge for complex troubleshooting of large deployments
